The positions are offered to work on the design, analysis and construction of synthetic genetic networks for cellular functionality reprogramming. Potential areas of research include gene circuit engineering, microbial ecosystem design, and metabolic engineering for chemical production and plastic degradation.

Ideal candidates for the positions should have extensive experiences in molecular cloning and DNA assembly for microbes. A Ph.D. in biological and related sciences is required. Experiences in genetic engineering and metabolic engineering are a plus but not necessary.

Salary is commensurate with skills and experience. The initial appointment is for one year and can be extended up to four years upon mutual agreement.
